Knights Announce 2008 Intern Team.

Event Management Staff Features 7 OSU Students

Corvallis Knights Director of Ballpark Operations Stro Strohmeyer announced the hiring of the club's student-intern staff for the upcoming 2008 season. This year's squad is comprised of Oregon State University students Marisa Gorman, Drew Olson, Jaimie Van Vleet, Amy Gremmel, Lisa Schwartz, Kate Stone, Matt Wilhelmsen and Louie Paul as well as Megan Murphy from Portland State University.

The club's interns are expected to gain valuable experience in event management, ticket operations, merchandising, promotions and guest services.

"I'm excited about this group," said Strohmeyer. "We recruited this team and feel real good about it. I think our fans will really appreciate the kids efforts and energy this summer."

The Knights' interns are all new to the program. Their debuts come on Opening Night Tuesday, June 17.

The team will be led by Strohmeyer and Assistant to the President Bre Kerkvliet. Both are two-year Corvallis Knights veterans.
