NBA Hires Knights Alum.
December 16, 20072007 Assistant GM Holly Jones Headed to New York City
Recent University of Oregon grad and three-year intern of the Corvallis Knights Holly Jones accepted a position last week with the National Basketball Association. She was one of 760 candidates vying for 10 marketing partnership jobs with the NBA.
Holly will move to New York City either in January or March of next year. She is likely to work on the Gatorade and EA Sports accounts.
Jones interned for three years with Knights Baseball Club. Last summer, Holly was the team's assistant general manager. She managed a student-intern team and was responsible for ballpark entertainment and event planning.
Holly just graduated from University of Oregon. The native of Eugene leaves home for the first time, to the Big Apple. The Knights wish her well and are very proud of Holly.
