990 AM to Broadcast Corvallis Knights Home and Away Games; Mike Parker, the Voice of the Oregon State Beavers, to Announce Club's Inaugural Season.

Knights Baseball Club team president Dan Segel announced today that KTHH 990 AM The Legend will be the Corvallis Knights flagship radio station and will broadcast the team's inaugural season in Corvallis. 990 The Legend, one of five Clear Channel stations servicing the area, will broadcast every home game starting with the home opener June 14 vs. the Bend Elks. Corvallis fans will also be able to follow the team on the road as the majority of the Knights' away games will be broadcast live as well. Segel also announced that Mike Parker, the voice of the Oregon State Beavers, would be calling the action.

KTHH is a popular Mid-Valley country music station featuring a variety of local news, weather and specialty programming. Mike Parker is the current play-by-play announcer for Oregon State football, basketball and baseball.

"We are very excited to be on the air in our first season," said Segel. "We're also thrilled to have Mike Parker as our broadcaster. He's a pro and our fans will really enjoy listening to him call the games this summer. We couldn't be more pleased with our agreement with Clear Channel."

Corvallis is one of three WCCBL teams that broadcast their games on the radio joining Wenatchee and Kelowna. Bend broadcasts many of their home games on cable TV and the Kitsap BlueJackets broadcast all their games over the Internet.

The Knights are also signing up sponsors for its first season at Goss. "We're enthused with the local business community's response to the team. It's been great. So far, we've already signed up six significant sponsors and continue to pursue partnerships," said Segel. "Our focus is on driving traffic to our partner establishments, getting people to the park and on enhancing youth baseball in the area."
