Mack the Knight Makes Appearance At Corvallis Little League Opening Ceremonies.

Knights Launch Youth Card and Rewards Program

Mack the Knight and the Corvallis Knights guest services intern team made an appearance at the Corvallis Little League's opening ceremonies and jamboree this past Saturday at Crystal Lake Sports Park. Mack braved the cold and wet conditions to mingle with his new friends, the Corvallis Little Leaguers, and pass out candy and team pocket schedules.

"It was a wet day, but we still had fun and the little leaguers seemed to really enjoy hanging with our Mack," said team assistant GM Holly Jones.

At the opening ceremony, Corvallis Little League coaches distributed the new Corvallis Knights Card to all the league's players. The card admits youths free of charge to Corvallis Knights games this summer and can also be presented at University Hero for discounts on large and small sandwiches.

In addition, cardholders can join the team's Hero Rewards program sponsored by University Hero to earn cool prizes such as a 8"x10" color print featuring and autographed by OSU's College World Series heroes Eric Gunderson and Bill Rowe and a free smoothie at University of Hero to name two of the six rewards members can earn. Hero members earn points for attending games. There is a $10 fee to join. Cardholders can register by visiting www.corvallisknights.com/uhero.
