Reggy: The Purple Party Dude is Coming to Corvallis

Knights Release 2015 Promo Schedule.

Three fireworks nights, a first-time appearance by Reggy: The Purple Party Dude, and the return of $1,000 Kids Dash for Cash Night and Cap Night headline this season's promotional schedule for the Corvallis Knights ninth season at Goss Stadium.

Add six, count 'em, six Block 15 Thursdays; Big League Chew, tee-shirt, mini bat, rally towel, reusable grocery tote bag, ice coffee tumbler and baseball giveaway nights and many other community and theme nights and there is plenty of fun planned for Knights' games June through August this summer.

And there are several new promotions as well, like Beaver Basketball Night, College Night, 104.7 KDUK's Working Women's Wednesday, Crack the Crabs Night and Spindrift Cellars Tasting Nights.

Those attractions, and many others, comprise the promotional schedule the Knights unveiled on Thursday. The hometown team opens its season at Goss on June 3 with a nonconference home game against the Portland Sea Dogs on PEAK Internet Science, Engineering & Art Day, presented by the OSU Colleges of Science and Engineering. Big League Chew Opening Night presented by AmeriTitle is June 9.

As is customary, the brightest star in the promotional galaxy is the team's July 2 Oregon State Credit Union Fireworks Night game against Victoria, a rite of summer in the mid-valley. The last six holiday Fireworks Nights have been sellouts, and the 2009 edition drew a franchise-record crowd of 3,506 fans.

"We've put together what we believe is another fun-filled promotional schedule that provides night after night of affordable entertainment," Knights' GM Bre Miller said. "We are so excited Reggy is coming to Corvallis. He comes highly recommended by our friends with the Hillsboro Hops and Boise Hawks of the Northwest League."

"Reggy will be lots of fun for the entire family, and you can't beat our fireworks. Goss is the place to be this summer!"

Fans can secure the very best reserved seats in Section A or B for all three fireworks shows and much more by purchasing the Knights' new Reserved Flex Plans.

To accommodate our busier fans who may not be able to commit to full Season Ticket Plans, we are now offering Half-Season and 10-Game Reserved Flex Plans. The Half-Season option is just $99 and allows fans to select the 16 games of their choice in Sections A or B, while keeping the same seat for all games. The 10-Game Reserved Flex option is $81 and allows fans to select 10 games, while keeping the same seat in Section B for those games. All three Fireworks Games are eligible to be included in both of these plans, and fans may purchase these packages online, in our office or via phone.

The first Fireworks Night, presented by Samaritan Health Services, is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, when the Knights host the Bend Elks. The third Fireworks Night, sponsored by Pioneer and PEAK Internet, is set for Saturday, Aug. 8 vs. Medford.

All 32 home dates (33 games) have a promotional tie-in, from giveaways to the inaugural appearance of Reggy: The Purple Party Dude!

"Everyone can find something special at the ballpark every night, throughout the whole summer," Miller said.

The team's annual FREE youth baseball clinic, is set for 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, June 20.
