Member Kids Enjoy Morning of Q&A and Autographs

Knights Make Visit to Boys & Girls Club of Albany. The Corvallis Knights made an appearance at the Boys & Girls Club of Albany on Tuesday, June 28th.

Mack the Knight, team interns, team president Dan Segel and Knight players Chase Kaplan (Kansas), Emilio Alcantar (Lewis-Clark State College), Trenton Dupre (Washington State), Tanner Howell (Dixie State) and Scott Ogrin (Cal Poly) entertained an assembly of member kids from 10-11:15 am.

Following player introductions, member kids asked the players a variety of interesting questions and received a complimentary ticket to Portland Trail Blazers Night presented by Les Schwab on Saturday, July 16 for doing so.

After learning a lot about the players; such as Emilio Alcantar's claim he can dunk a basketball, Trenton Dupre's claim he was born with webbed hands, that Scott Ogrin would rather let his hair grow than get it cut and that Tanner Howell does magic tricks, all the kids in attendance lined up for autographs and a complimentary Portland Trail Blazers team poster thanks to Les Schwab.

"What a fun group," said Knights president Dan Segel. "The kids questions were great, they were well behaved and there was lots of good energy at the assembly."

"Our players did a nice job engaging and making things fun. We really appreciate the great work being done at the Boys & Girls Club of Albany and the time and energy of our players."
