OSU Students Set for Summer of Learning and Fun.

Interns in Place. Ready, Set, Go.

The Corvallis Knights have partnered with Oregon State to provide summer internships to help prepare students for the professional world after they leave Corvallis.

Beavers from OSU's College of Business and the Department of Design & Human Environment will learn valuable business skills and receive practical work experience to enhance their undergraduate experience and make them more attractive candidates for future employers.

Interns are assigned a variety of wide-ranging tasks, such as identifying/working with team sponsors; customer relations; merchandising and marketing; publicity, ticket sales, and promotions.

"Our partnership with Oregon State is very important to us and we're thrilled to give serious students a chance to learn and gain real business world experience," Knights' president Dan Segel said.

"By working with the College of Business and the College of Design and Human Development, we know we're getting focused, driven students who will make the most of their internship experience and provide our fans and sponsors with outstanding customer service."
