Casey Grogan: To begin, what sports did you play while growing up?

Alex Burg: Soccer, basketball, golf and baseball.

CG: When did you know that baseball was going to be the sport for you?

AB: About 14 or 15.

CG: What is your greatest baseball moment or memory?

AB: Going to the College World Series my freshman year (at Clemson) and winning the 14-year-old National Championship.

CG: Favorite athlete?

AB: (Cincinnati Reds centerfielder) Ken Griffey Jr.

CG: Favorite sports team?

AB: Seattle Mariners.

CG: If you weren't playing baseball what do you think you'd be doing? Or studying to do?

AB: Probably be trying to golf.

CG: Favorite band or artist and why?

AB: Sherwood, I just like how they play.

CG: Favorite movie?

AB: I really like the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

CG: Best class you've ever taken and why?

AB: Social Psychology. It was really interesting and I learned a lot about myself.
