Ben Guidos - Pitcher - # 22

Washington

Casey Grogan: What has your experience been like with the Knights thus far?
Ben Guidos: "It's been really good. They know how to treat the players and the fact that it's such a good group of guys going out there to compete everyday having fun."

CG: What is the most memorable ballpark that you have played in? Why?
BG: "I didn't get a chance to play but we've played a couple of games at Safeco Field for the University of Washington. That place is amazing."

CG: What is your favorite professional sports team? And who is your favorite professional athlete?
BG: "It would be the (Seattle) Sonics, but they don't exist anymore, so the Mariners. Favorite athlete (Phillies pitcher) Jamie Moyer."

CG: What is your favorite thing about Seattle?
BG: "I just love that you can pretty much walk anywhere. It's a pretty big campus, but you walk anywhere you want to go and Seattle's just a short drive away so you can go downtown if you want."

CG: What has been the most memorable moment of your baseball career?
BG: "My senior year of high school, in the same game that I tore a ligament in my arm, I threw a perfect game."

CG: Who is your greatest influence in baseball?
BG: "My grandpa. He was a left-handed pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization and he actually went through arm problems before they really had surgeries for them, so he kind of helped me through it when I had my surgery and had to come back."
