Casey Grogan: To begin, what sports did you play while growing up?

Chris Brookey: I played baseball obviously, and a little basketball and that was pretty much it.

CG: When did you know that baseball was going to be the sport for you?

CB: My freshman year of high school was pretty much when I knew.

CG: What is your greatest baseball moment or memory?

CB: Freshman year of high school when my high school won the CIF Championship.

CG: Favorite athlete?

CB: I'd say Jake Peavy (of the San Diego Padres), because he's dirty.

CG: Favorite sports team?

CB: The Oakland A's.

CG: If you weren't playing baseball what do you think you'd be doing? Or studying to do?

CB: I would probably be working over the summer.

CG: Favorite band or artist and why?

CB: Pennywise. They are from Southern California and it's good stuff.

CG: Favorite movie?

CB: Dazed and Confused.

CG: Best class you've ever taken and why?

CB: Health and Wellness Promotion. It was our strength and conditioning coach (at UNC-Asheville), it was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken.
