Casey Grogan: To begin, what sports did you play while growing up?

Josh Hogan: I played baseball, basketball, football and soccer growing up. I played baseball in high school and one year of football just for fun.

CG: When did you know that baseball was going to be the sport for you?

JH: I always kind of knew, the other sports were just something else to do for fun.

CG: What is your greatest baseball moment or memory?

JH: Probably have to be, beating North Eugene to win league because of the big rivalry. Those games were always really intense and a lot of fun.

CG: Favorite athlete?

JH: Reggie Bush (running back for the New Orleans Saints).

CG: Favorite baseball player?

JH: (Cincinnati Reds centerfielder) Ken Griffey Jr.

CG: Favorite sports team?

JH: The (Boston) Red Sox.

CG: If you weren't playing baseball what do you think you'd be doing? Or studying to do?

JH: Focusing on school and figuring out what I want to do with that.

CG: Favorite band or artist and why?

JH: Kenny Chesney. Been to his concert four times and he is amazing.

CG: Favorite movie?

JH: The Sandlot.

CG: Best class you've ever taken and why?

JH: Sports psychology, it was fun you got to see what goes on in the mind of an athlete.

CG: Corvallis.

JH: Knights.

CG: Goss Stadium.

JH: Beavers.

CG: Baseball.

JH: Fun.
