Rocky Gale - Catcher - # 4

Portland

Casey Grogan: What has your experience been like with the Knights thus far?
Rocky Gale: "We have a wining ball club and a good chemistry. We have a bunch of guys who really enjoy being around each other and want to get better each day. The goal for us has been to get better everyday and the winning has just been a byproduct of that."

CG: What is the most memorable ballpark that you have played in? Why?
RG: "I got to play at Safeco. That was fun because it's a big league ballpark. I didn't even play a game, I just did a workout but it was a cool environment."

CG: What is your favorite professional sports team? And who is your favorite professional athlete?
RG: "The Houston Astros. Favorite athlete, I don't really have one."

CG: What is your favorite thing about Portland?
RG: "I just like the diversity of things you can do and enjoy in Portland, it's a big city and it's a little quirky but there are so many things you can do in Portland."

CG: What has been the most memorable moment of your baseball career?
RG: "Probably getting to University of Portland and winning games. Just having that experience where you're winning games and on a successful team at a level that you've idolized for so long. Then you get there and are winning games it is kind of a culmination of all your hard work."

CG: Who is your greatest influence in baseball?
RG: "My dad for sure. He's always been around the game and I would have to accredit his love, passion and knowledge of the game to the way I take my approach and how I've learned to go about playing the game."
