Casey Grogan: To begin, what sports did you play while growing up?

Anthony Carrillo: I played a little bit of basketball and football, but mostly just baseball.

CG: When did you know that baseball was going to be the sport for you?

AC: I think I kind of always knew that. I think I just played the other sports to kind of take a break from baseball for a little bit.

CG: What is your greatest baseball moment or memory?

AC: Winning the state championship at Riverside CC and winning the Big West at Long Beach State.

CG: Favorite athlete?

AC: (New York Mets pitcher) Pedro Martinez.

CG: Favorite sports team?

AC: The Dodgers, the LA Dodgers.

CG: If you weren't playing baseball what do you think you'd be doing? Or studying to do?

AC: I know I'd be in school, I would probably still be going for communications, just not sure what I'd want to do with it yet.

CG: Favorite band or artist and why?

AC: Kanye West, I just like his music.

CG: Favorite movie?

AC: Major League 2.

CG: Best class you've ever taken and why?

AC: I took a Health Science class at Riverside, it was just nice how the teacher taught it.

CG: Corvallis.

AC: Billy Clontz.

CG: Goss Stadium.

AC: Beavers.

CG: Baseball.

AC: Favorite sport.

CG: (Long Beach State) 49'ers.

AC: Dirtbags.

CG: Dirtbags (Long Beach State's baseball nickname).
