Josh Hogan - Second Baseman - # 3

Oregon

Casey Grogan: What has your experience been like with the Knights thus far?
Josh Hogan: "It's been really good. It's been nice to get back on the winning track because we weren't winning much at Oregon. I am just having a lot of fun with the guys and winning."

CG: What is the most memorable ballpark that you have played in? Why?
JH: "Mine would have to be PGE Park, 16,000 fans that was pretty crazy for the Civil War."

CG: What is your favorite professional sports team? And who is your favorite professional athlete?
JH: "The Lakers and Ken Griffey Jr."

CG: What is your favorite thing about Eugene?
JH: "That I grew up there."

CG: What has been the most memorable moment of your baseball career?
JH: "Probably my first at-bat with the Ducks, I hit a double off the wall. It was a pinch-hit in a big spot down at St. Mary's in our second game."

CG: Who is your greatest influence in baseball?
JH: "My dad. He got me interested in it and got me a glove. I wanted to play catch every second and he would go out in the yard or street and play catch with me. We'd go down to the school and hit. He coached me in Babe Ruth and all that, he was just always involved. Along with my mom they were both really supportive."
