Casey Grogan: To begin, what sports did you play while growing up?
Jared Eskew: Basketball and baseball.
CG: When did you know that baseball was going to be the sport for you?
JE: About my sophomore year of high school, it was my last year of basketball. I didn't like it anymore and what was left was baseball.
CG: What is your greatest baseball moment or memory?
JE: I have had a few; I have been to the Babe Ruth World Series, won the section championship in high school. I don't have just one thing.
CG: Favorite athlete?
JE: (Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher) Brandon Webb.
CG: Favorite sports team?
JE: Growing up I liked the (Los Angeles) Dodgers. But I like specific players more than specific teams.
CG: If you weren't playing baseball what do you think you'd be doing? Or studying to do?
JE: I think I would be studying to be a physical therapist.
CG: Favorite band or artist and why?
JE: I like country and Christian stuff, so it depends on what mood I am in.
CG: Favorite movie?
JE: The Patriot.
CG: Best class you've ever taken and why?
JE: Intro to Athletic Training back at Point Loma Nazarene. It was a hands on class, with stuff I like to do: taping, injury assessment and things like that.
CG: Corvallis.
JE: Small town, quiet.
CG: Goss Stadium.
JE: Beautiful place.
CG: Baseball.
JE: Greatest sport in the world.
CG: (Cal Poly) Mustangs.
JE: Pride.
