Casey Grogan: What has your experience been like with the Knights thus far?
Sam Gaviglio: "It's been fun, I've got to meet a lot of new guys and they've all been great."

CG: What is the most memorable ballpark that you have played in? Why?
SG: "PGE Park against Oregon."

CG: What is your favorite professional sports team? And who is your favorite professional athlete?
SG: "The (Seattle) Mariners. Favorite athlete is Ryan Ortiz (former Oregon State catcher and member of the Oakland Athletics organization).

CG: What is your favorite thing about Corvallis?
SG: "It's a college town and living in Maple Tree with the guys."

CG: What has been the most memorable moment of your baseball career?
SG: "Either winning a high school state championship or throwing my first shutout this year."

CG: Who is your greatest influence in baseball?
SG: "I would say, it's Ryan Ortiz again. He just became an influence this year."
