Casey Grogan: What has your experience been like with the Knights thus far?
Steve Kalush: "It's been awesome. Wining baseball games is always great. Everyone on the team is awesome, it's probably been one of the best teams I've ever been a part of."
CG: What is the most memorable ballpark that you have played in? Why?
SK: "I think it would have to be AT&T Park where the Giants play. We played a game there my freshman year and I got to throw in that. Just the whole venue, being where I'm from the Giants stadium is really nice."
CG: What is your favorite professional sports team? And who is your favorite professional athlete?
SK: "Favorite pro sports team is the San Francisco Giants, my favorite pro athlete is probably Michael Jordan."
CG: What is your favorite thing about Santa Clara?
SK: "I like how it's kind of a smaller school so you get to know people a little better. It's near a bigger city in San Jose so there is a lot of stuff to do all the time."
CG: What has been the most memorable moment of your baseball career?
SK: "Last season winning the Cape Cod league championship, but this year if we win this one maybe we'll put that up there."
CG: Who is your greatest influence in baseball?
SK: "My dad. He's always been there to play catch or throw batting practice. He's just always been there for me supporting me."
