Casey Grogan: What has your experience been like with the Knights thus far?
Matt Andriese: "It's been really fun. We have a lot of really good guys on this team; I wasn't expecting it to be like this. The team is doing well, with a good record."
CG: What is the most memorable ballpark that you have played in? Why?
MA: "I would probably have to say here (Goss Stadium) actually. It was the first big crowd I've pitched in front of, on that July 3rd game. My college doesn't have as many fans and not as supportive."
CG: What is your favorite professional sports team? And who is your favorite professional athlete?
MA: "The Los Angeles Angels and my favorite athlete is Alex Rodriguez (third baseman of the New York Yankees)."
CG: What is your favorite thing about Riverside?
MA: "It's close to home, only 15 minutes from home. I can check up on the family all the time."
CG: What has been the most memorable moment of your baseball career?
MA: "Getting drafted out of high school (by the Texas Rangers) was pretty memorable."
CG: Who is your greatest influence in baseball?
MA: "My dad. He's coached me from when I first started."
