The Knights 2002 season will be best remembered for its first NBC World Series appearance and two exciting come-from-behind wins at the Series. Aloha beat Sparta Miller (WI) and Crestwood (IL) and fought valiantly in defeat vs. top five finishers San Luis Obispo Blues (3rd place) and Beatrice Bruins (5th place). The 2002 team finished second in the PIL South with a 17-13 record and made a run at the Kamloops International Baseball Tournament (KIBT) title as it won all its winner's bracket games before losing the championship game to its archrival Seattle Studs. Aloha's second place finish was the Knights third at the KIBT and all three times the Knights made its way to the KIBT's championship game without a defeat and lost to the loser's bracket winner. For the first time in franchise history, the club did not finish with a winning record as the 2002 edition went 29-29 overall.

For the second consecutive year, the Knights take 3 of 4 from the Humboldt Crabs at Arcata Baseball Park.

The Humboldt Crabs leave the friendly confines of Arcata Baseball Park for the first time in years to participate in the Knights' inaugural All-American Invitational (AAI) baseball tournament. The Crabs avenge their series defeat at the hands of the Knights and go home as undefeated AAI champions.

Knights Baseball Club, Inc. features two outstanding affiliate clubs - the Portland Cardinals and Gresham Kings. The Knights struggle vs. the two clubs going a combined 3-7 vs. its little brothers.

Gresham Kings sweep PIL North Division champion Wenatchee AppleSox in a three-game series in Wenatchee and take third place at the All-American Invitational.

Aloha takes second at the Kamloops International Baseball Tournament. Outfielder Matt Cunningham of UC Riverside is named the KIBT's MVP and also wins the "Top Hitter" and "Most HR" awards. First baseman Scott Bolcoa of Riverside CC wins the "Most RBI" award.

Infielder John Otness of University of Washington is named the team's MVP and is the club's only All-PIL First-Teamer.

Bolcoa leads the PIL in HRs and leads the Knights in both HRs (8) and RBI (43).
