The Corvallis Knights hosted their ninth annual FREE baseball clinic at Goss Stadium on Saturday, June 25th (pictured is Knights head associate head coach Connor Lambert with the clinic's MVP camper as voted on by the Corvallis players and coaches).123 campers ages 6-13 enjoyed a morning of fun with Knights players and coaches under sunny skies.
The clinic strives to teach kids how to have fun with the game on their own. Campers rotated through 11 stations taught by Knights players and overseen by Knights skipper Brooke Knight.
"It was a great, high energy day at the yard," said Knights president Dan Segel. "The campers were a lot of fun and seemed to really enjoy their time with the Knights players. Our guys did a super job making this a really engaging day."
The clinic wrapped with a Q&A session with the players, and all the campers went home with tickets to Saturday night's game against the Hayesville Hammers.
