Knights to Air on 1240 Joe Radio.

Corvallis Knights Replace Seattle Mariners on KEJO in 2009

Team president Dan Segel announced that the Corvallis Knights were moving its games to KEJO 1240 AM for the 2009 season. The Knights were broadcast the past two seasons on KTHH 990 AM The Legend. Mike Parker, the voice of the Knights, will continue to call all the Corvallis' games on KEJO Joe Radio.

The Knights will replace the Seattle Mariners on KEJO and broadcast all 57 of its regular season games. The Mariners will move to KTHH 990 AM.

"We're ecstatic about this move. KEJO is the premier sports station in the Valley with a loyal listenership," said Segel. "This will help us build our fan base and its strong evening signal will assure that our listeners won't miss any of the action."

The Knights first broadcast on KEJO 1240 AM will be Tuesday, June 9, the club's home opener vs. the Bend Elks.

KEJO is home to the popular Joe Beaver Show that is hosted by Jon Warren and Mike Parker.
