Defending WCL Champs Unveil 2017 Promotional Schedule.

Three fireworks nights, a return of the popular Wilson Motors Buyout the Ballpark Night, the always-popular Cowbell and Cap Nights and a $1,000 Kids Dash for Cash highlight the promotional schedule for the Knights 11th season in Corvallis at Goss Stadium.
A popular promotion in minor-league baseball - Star Wars Night - is coming to Goss Stadium for the first time. Fans can interact with their favorite Star Wars characters as part of the fun. In addition, the first 250 kids will get a mini lightsaber courtesy of Country Financial. Throw in Brooke Knight Bobblehead Night; Block 15 Koozie Night; Fred Meyer Family Fridays and a Portland Trail Blazers Night and there are plenty of memories to be made this summer.
Those attractions, and many others, comprise the promotional schedule released by team president Bre Miller.
The Knights open the season on Wednesday, June 7 with their traditional nonconference home game against the Portland Sea Dogs on the sixth annual Science, Engineering & Art Day, presented by OSU Colleges of Science and Engineering.
As is customary, the brightest star in the promotional galaxy is the club's July 3rd Oregon State Credit Union Fireworks Night game against the Bend Elks.
A rite of summer in the mid-valley, the last eight holiday Fireworks Nights were sellouts, with a record 3,506 fans attending the 2009 game.
"We've put together a robust promotional schedule that we think our fans are going to love," said Korey Kozaryn, the Knights promotions & operation manager.
"Fireworks are fun for the entire family. Star Wars Night is one of the most-popular promotions in sports and we are excited to bring it to Corvallis.
"Ladies Night, Halfway to Christmas Night, a bobblehead, and a special $2.41 priced GA tickets on our 241st Independence Day to celebrate the Fourth of July, Fred Meyer Family Fridays...we have it all!
"Our 11th summer in Corvallis is going to be a home run, as we make Goss Stadium the summer destination for fans throughout the mid-valley."
The first Fireworks Night, presented by Samaritan Health Services, is planned for Saturday, June 24th, when the Knights host Bellingham. The third Fireworks Night, sponsored by Pioneer Telephone, is set for Saturday, Aug. 5th as the Knights take on the Yakima Valley Pippins.
On Friday, Aug. 4th, we celebrate the best coach in the West Coast League - four-time WCL Coach of the Year, Brooke Knight. Salute to OSU Baseball: Brooke Knight Bobblehead Night is presented by Coral Construction. Bring all your family & friends as we salute our beloved Beavs and former Oregon State catcher Brooke Knight.
Les Schwab Portland Trail Blazers Night presented by Washington Park Advisors returns on Friday July 28th along with All Family Vision Care $1,000 Kids Dash for Cash Night, presented by State Farm Insurance on Saturday, July 8th.

* June 14 is 99.9 KRKT Opening Night. First 500 fans get a mini WCL Championship Trophy. Admission for Seniors on Wednesdays (GA tickets) is $2. Wednesdays are also Spindrift Cellars Wine Nights. Fans can enjoy specially priced wine.
* June 15 is Holiday Inn Express Magnet Schedule Giveaway Night and Business After Hours Night. Purchase a ticket for the TnT Builders Party Deck through the Corvallis Chamber to enjoy an evening of networking.
* June 16 is Linn Benton Tractor Country Cowbell Night. First 250 fans get more cowbell!
*June 17 is Carnaval en Corvallis. Come celebrate Latino Heritage Night with the Caballeros.
* June 18 is our Snap Fitness Father's Day game. Bring dad to the game for special pre-game activities.
* June 19 is BI-MART Beach Party Night.
* June 23 is Big League Chew Youth Baseball & Softball Night presented by Pape. First 250 fans get a pouch of Big League Chew and a sheet of Knights trading cards. Kids 18 and under wearing their team's youth jersey admitted FREE.
* June 24 is Samaritan Health Services Fireworks Nights.
*June 25 is Halfway to Christmas Night presented by The UPS Store. Wear your favorite ugly sweater and join Santa for a night at the ballpark. Stay after for a holiday themed movie.
*June 26 is Philomath Night presented by the Philomath Chamber of Commerce.
*June 27 is Law Enforcement Night presented by Housley Agency Farmers Insurance.
*June 28 is Block 15 Koozie Night. First 500 fans get a koozie.
*June 29 is 106.3 KLOO-FM Star Wars Night presented by COUNTRY Financial. First 250 kids get a mini lightsaber. That evening, the Knights take on the Albany American Legion team in a doubleheader with the first game being an International match as the Aussies come to town to face Corvallis. Corvallis looks to defend its 2016 WCL title by starting West Coast League play Friday, June 2 at Cowlitz. The Knights WCL home opener is Wednesday, June 14 against the Port Angeles Lefties.
