Knights Alum Greg Mahle Gets Called Up to Big Leagues.

Former Corvallis Knights southpaw Greg Mahle was called up to the big leagues today by the Los Angeles Angels. A late cut in spring training, Mahle was added to the Halos roster and reported immediately to Oakland to meet the team.
Greg was a two-way player for the Knights in 2012 and earned first-team all-WCL honors. He also pitched a no-hitter vs. Cowlitz at Goss Stadium, the Knights only no-hitter while in Corvallis.
Mahle has ascended quickly in the Angels system after signing following his junior year in 2014.
He is the seventh Knights alum to make a major league roster this season.
