Knights Unveil 2016 Promo Schedule.

Three fireworks nights, a return of the popular, iconic SD Chicken, the always-popular Cowbell and Cap Nights and a $1,000 Kids Dash for Cash highlight the promotional schedule for the Knights 10th season in Corvallis at Goss Stadium.Throw in Andrew Susac Bobblehead Night; five Block 15 Thursdays; four Bi-Mart $2 Tuesdays, Fred Meyer Family Fridays and a Portland Trail Blazers Night and there is plenty of fun planned for Knights games throughout the summer.

The Knights open the season on Wednesday, June 1 with their traditional nonconference home game against the Portland Sea Dogs on the fifth annual PEAK Internet Science, Engineering & Art Day, presented by OSU Colleges of Science and Engineering.
As is customary, the brightest star in the promotional galaxy is the club's July 2nd Oregon State Credit Union Fireworks Night game against the Willamette Valley Brewers. A rite of summer in the mid-valley, the last seven holiday Fireworks Nights were sellouts, with a record 3,506 fans attending the 2009 game.
"We've put together a robust promotional schedule that we think our fans are going to love," said Holly Jones, the Knights senior vice-president of operations.
"Fireworks are fun for the entire family. The San Diego Chicken is the most-famous mascot in sports and is baseball royalty.
"Cap Night, Cowbell Night, a bobblehead, and affordable, family-friendly prices on Bi-Mart $2 Tuesdays and Fred Meyer Family Fridays...we have it all, and we think our fans will appreciate our move back to our original Block Thursdays pricing, which will also feature a $2 hot dog offering.
"Our 10th summer in Corvallis is going to be a celebration, as we make Goss Stadium the summer destination for fans throughout the mid-valley."
Families can get vouchers at Fred Meyer stores in Corvallis and Albany to be redeemed on Fred Meyer Family Fridays (all Friday night games) for 4 reserved seats, 4 soft drinks, 4 hot dogs and 4 popcorns for only $44.
On Bi-Mart $2 Tuesdays, fans can show their Bi-Mart member cards to purchase $2 peanuts, $2 Cracker Jacks and $2 Pepsi products.
The first Fireworks Night, presented by Samaritan Health Services, is planned for June 18, when the Knights host Kitsap. The third Fireworks Night, sponsored by PEAK Internet and Pioneer Telephone, is set for the Aug. 4 home regular-season finale against the Gresham GreyWolves.
The June 25 Salute to OSU Baseball: Andrew Susac Bobblehead Night contest with the Hayesville Hammers is presented by Coral Construction. It honors the Knights partnership with the Beavers and the former Oregon State (2010-2011) and Knights (2009) catcher, now with the San Francisco Giants.
The San Diego Chicken returns for his third visit to Goss Stadium on Saturday, July 9, when the Knights host the Yakima Valley Pippins. It's also a $1,000 Kids Dash for Cash Night, presented by All Family Vision Care and Best Heating and Cooling.

* Block 15 Thursdays are on June 16, June 30, July 7, July 28 and August 4.
* Bi-Mart $2 Tuesdays are on June 14, June 28, July 26 and August 2.
* June 14 is Big League Chew Opening Knight, presented by KRKT. Fans receive Knights trading card sheets and pouches of Big League Chew.
* June 15 is Holiday Inn Express Magnet Schedule Giveaway Night and KDUK Working Women Wednesday, and admission for Seniors on Wednesday (GA tickets) is $2. Wednesdays are also Spindrift Cellars Wine Nights. Fans can enjoy specially priced wine.
* June 17 is Linn Benton Tractor Cowbell Night. We are giving away 500 this year!
* June 19 is our Snap Fitness Father's Day game.
* June 27 is Philomath Night, presented by the Philomath Chamber of Commerce.
* June 29 is Discover Newport Night.
* June 30 is COUNTRY Financial Mini Bat Night. First 250 fans get mini bats. That evening, the Knights take on the Albany American Legion team in a twi-night doubleheader with the first game being an International match as the Aussies come to town to face Corvallis. * July 6 is KLOO-FM Timeless Rock Night and Mascot Night, presented by Jiffy Lube.
* July 8 is Ladies Night, presented by Heresco Chiropractic.
* July 10 is HOPE Night presented by 107.9 FM.
* July 11 is Papa's Pizza Parlor Slice of Family Fun Night, presented by IBEW 280.
* We are partying on July 15 as it's Nocking Point Wines Perfect Ten Night, presented by The Barbers. Come celebrate 10 seasons in Corvallis with the Knights. As part of the celebration, the Knights, Pape and Les Schwab are encouraging fans to donate food, toys and clothing that night in support of Community Outreach, Inc.
* July 16 is Portland Trail Blazers Night presented by Les Schwab.
* July 17 is KRKT & Pioneer Telephone Military Appreciation Night. And Les & Bobs T-Shirt Giveaway Night, presented by ServPro and Hilton Garden Inn.
* July 23 is Cap Night, presented by the Mario Pastega House. The first 750 fans get super-cool Knights hats.
* July 24 is Wilson Motors Night. Free GA tickets are available at the dealership, corner 5th Street and Buchanan in Corvallis.
* July 25 is Holiday Inn Express Baseball Giveaway Night. The first 500 fans get baseballs.
* July 27 is Andrea Beem Team Key Chain Giveaway Night. The first 250 fans get free key chains.
* July 28 is Reusable Grocery Tote Bag Night, presented by Barker Uerlings Insurance. The first 250 fans get tote bags.
* August 3 is KLOO-FM Austin Powers Night presented by Pepsi.
The hometown team is also bringing back 'Lil Knights Club and Reading Club games; and GA tickets are only $2 for ages 60+ on Senior Nights on Wednesdays. The Knights are also hosting their annual FREE clinic for kids ages 6-13 and the eighth annual Heart of the Valley Out to the Ballgame 5K, both at Goss Stadium on Saturday, June 25. The Knights begin West Coast League play June 3 at Bend. The WCL home opener is June 14 against the Kelowna Falcons, the 2015 WCL runner-up.
Single-game tickets are set to go on sale as early as next week. Stay tuned for an announcement.
Corvallis made the playoffs in 2015 for the ninth consecutive year, but were defeated by eventual-champion Bend in the first round of the playoffs. It marked the first year since 2010, and just the second year since the Knights moved to Corvallis in 2007, that they did not play in the WCL Championship Series.
