Nearly 90 Kids Attend Knights' Boys & Girls Club Clinic.
June 23, 2008Corvallis to Host Two More Day Camps in Albany and Lebanon
The Corvallis Knights and Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis hosted a day clinic at Williams Field this past Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. Nearly 90 kids attended the free clinic. Corvallis assistant coach John Hessel led the camp with help from clinic coordinator Ron Northcutt of Oregon State.
The clinic featured instruction by 19 Corvallis Knights players including Dean Green of Oklahoma State and Anthony Carrillo of Long Beach State (pictured with campers Jolene and Riley). The players taught attendees fun games they can play on their own as five groups rotated through five stations manned by Corvallis Knights. The clinic concluded with five whiffle ball games and a question and answer session with the players.
The next Corvallis Knights clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1 at Linn-Benton Community College. The final clinic is slated for Thursday, July 17 at the Boys & Girls Club of Lebanon.
