8 ex-Knights selected in 2007 MLB draft.

8 ex-Knights were selected in the 2007 MLB June draft held Thursday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 8. The first Knight picked was southpaw Marc Rzepczynski of University of California, Riverside. The senior went in the 5th round and was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays. Zep went 6-2 with a 2.74 ERA this past spring and was named All-Big West honorable mention. Marc pitched for the Knights last summer and went 6-0 with a 2.25 ERA and was named Second-Team All-WCCBL.
