Kyle Nobach of Oregon State Earns Corvallis MVP Honors.
August 23, 2016Cameron Bishop of UC Irvine Named Knights Top Prospect

Senior-to-be outfielder Kyle Nobach of Oregon State earned team MVP honors. Nobach played spectacular center field and led the team in runs scored with 43 and triples with 6 while hitting .299 overall with two homers, 26 RBIs and 18 stolen bases.
Nobach was also the recipient of the club's Joe Segel Hustle Award.
Junior-to-be southpaw Cameron Bishop of UC Irvine (pictured) was named the team's top prospect. Bishop struck out a team-high 56 batters over 40 innings pitched; and posted a 1.45 ERA for the WCL regular season. Cameron was also named the top prospect as voted on by MLB pro scouts at this summer's WCL All-Star Game.
Trenton Dupre of Washington State earned Top Pitcher honors. The lefty was masterful all season long. His postseason performance earned the senior-to-be WCL Pitcher of the Week recognition for Aug. 8-16. Overall, he went 4-0, registered 6 saves and posted a 0.52 ERA over 16 appearances, 3 starts and 34.1 innings pitched.
