DJ Johnson (pictured) blasted two homeruns and collected 4 RBI as the Knights improved their overall mark to 28-12 with its win in Arcata. Johnson of Mt. Hood CC hit a solo homer in the third and a two-run bomb in the fifth inning. The left-handed hitting slugger from Beaverton, Oregon blasted his first dinger to centerfield. With the bases empty, Johnson recorded the Knights' first hit of the inning, a solo homerun to give Corvallis an early 6-0 lead.

The Crabs sloppy play contributed to the big inning. Humboldt made 7 errors on the evening including two in the third.

Alex Burg of Washington State plated the Knights' fifth run on a sacrifice popout to the Crabs' first baseman.

Richie Jimenez of Riverside CC made several nice plays at short as the frosh from RCC recorded six assists. Unfortunately, Richie was charged for one error on a bad hop that should have been scored a single. Jimenez also went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI.

Anthony Carrillo of Long Beach State recorded the win in relief as Corvallis used 7 pitchers vs. the Crabs.

Southpaw Josh Osich of OSU started and went three innings. Osich ran into trouble in the third giving up three runs on two hits and three walks.
