Kitsap snapped the Knights' 9-game win streak and took game one of the four game series with a convincing 9-2 victory in front of 1,472 fans at Kiger Stadium.
DJ Johnson, a junior-to be at Western Oregon, made his pitching debut for Corvallis replacing starter Liam Baron who took the loss.
Corvallis and Kitsap move the series to Goss Stadium for the final three games.
