July 31, 2008The ZOOperstars! put on a great show before 818 fans. Not too many stuck around to the very bitter end to catch the last out of a wild 14-inning affair between the Knights and Mounties as the game went over 4 hours, the longest Knights' game of the season.
Frosh two-way player Dylan Jones of Mt. Hood CC drove in the game-winning run in the top of the 14th and pitched 4 scoreless innings to earn the win as Gresham evened its season series with Corvallis 2-2 with a 2-1 road victory.
Jones went 3 for 3 with a double on the night as the southpaw entered the game at first base, pitched and finished the game in leftfield.
