Knights sweep Bells, Corvallis routs Bellingham 13-1 before a crowd of 678 at Goss.

The Knights finished the 2008 regular season with a bang as the Knights collected 13 hits and scored 13 runs as Corvallis routed Bellingham 13-1.

Northwest Conference Player of the Year Kyle Stalker of Willamette went 4 for 5 with 3 runs scored, a double and RBI.

Ben Rue picked up the win in relief as the senior-to be at Concordia tossed two scoreless innings and struck out 3.

Frosh catcher Travis Anderson of Feather River College went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI.

Corvallis finishes the regular season with a 31-11 league mark. The Knights 31 victories are a league and franchise record for WCCBL wins.

The Knights travel to Bend on Tuesday, August 12 for game one of the West Divisional Series. Game time is at 7 pm at Vince Genna Stadium.

Eddie Orozco of UC Riverside is the probable starter for the Knights.
