Knights blank Falcons 7-0 to take series.Cameron Bishop (pictured), Ryley Widell and Jacob Wong combined to shutout Kelowna as Corvallis won its third straight WCL series.

Bishop tossed five innings to earn the win. The lefty from UC Irvine allowed 3 hits while walking two and striking out 4.

Corvallis scored first on a fourth-inning RBI single by Greg Saenz of Grand Canyon.

The Knights broke things open in the top of the ninth as the visitors scored five times.

Reigning WCL Player of the Week Andy Atwood of Oregon State went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. His Beaver teammate Zak Taylor went 3-for-4.

Widell and Wong both threw two scoreless innings of relief. Wong registered a save.

Corvallis played errorless ball and collected 12 hits.

The Knights and Falcons wrap their three-game series tomorrow at Elks Stadium. Grant Goodman of San Francisco is the Knights probable starter.

With the win, Corvallis improves to 11-6 in league. The Knights go for the swep at Kelowna on Thursday. First pitch is 6:35 pm.
