Corvallis beats WCL Portland Ports 10-1 before Goss Stadium crowd of 1,231.

Catcher Corey Davis went 3-for-5 with a RBI double to lead the Knights offense.

"We're playing really good baseball right now and the best thing we can do is keep at ease and not rush anything or try too hard in the next couple days," said Davis.

"You know we really pushed hard in the series in Wenatchee and I think after that series it kind of solidified that we're the team to do it and I think we all believe we can do it and the key is to not try too hard and just keep doing what we're doing."

Corvallis collected 13 hits vs. the Ports of the WCL Portland.

Outfielder Daniel Dillard of Western Oregon went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and first baseman Thomas McCarthy of Feather River College went 2-for-5. Every Knights' starter recorded a hit.

While the Knights played flawless defense, the Ports made six errors on the night.
