Corvallis beats Olympia 4-1 in non-league contest.

Jordan Post (pictured) of PLU started and threw 3 scoreless innings as the Knights wrapped its 8-game home stand with a victory over Olympia. Infielder Clayton Shaw of UP and outfield Jake Roy of Dakota Wesleyan both pitched 2 innings with Shaw garnering the win and Roy finishing the game and earning a save.

Offensively, Corvallis was led by DH Kyle Cruikshank of Golden West College. Cruikshank went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI.

Pitcher Brett Brunner of PLU played first base.

The Knights called up third baseman Grant Glover of Mt. Hood CC and outfielders Justin Speer of Mt. Hood CC and Bryant Kraus of Linn-Benton CC from the Gresham Mountaineers to play in Monday night's game.

With the 7-inning win, Corvallis improves to 25-12 overall and extends its win streak to three.

The Knights will enjoy two days off before returning to WCCBL play on Thursday at Kelowna.
