Crabs take game one of series 8-5 at Arcata Baseball Park.

The Knights dropped the first game of a three-game series with the Crabs 8-5 in a sloppy game at Arcata Baseball Park. 891 Crab fans saw Humboldt record 13 hits and take advantage of 5 Knights errors. The Crabs made 4 errors and starting pitcher Tyler Graham of Sierra College hit four Knights, but Humboldt still prevailed erasing an early 3-0 deficit to beat Corvallis.

The Knights squandered several opportunities by hitting into 5 double plays.

Corvallis finishes the series and its first road trip with a twi-night doubleheader starting at 5:30 pm on Monday. The games will be broadcasted on KTHH 990 AM The Legend. Mike Koons of San Diego State and Matt Way of Washington State are the scheduled starters.
