Moses Lake blanks Knights 7-0. Pirates take series opener.

Pirates' hurler Drew Martin of Wenatchee Valley College stuffed the Knights allowing only six hits as the sophomore right-hander tossed a complete game shutout.

Corvallis starter Dean McArdle of Stanford took the loss.

In a battle of last place clubs, Moses Lake of the WCL East spanked the Knights of the WCL West 7-0 at Larson Playfield.

For Corvallis and Moses Lake, it's been a reversal of fortunes as the Knights went 38-10 last season and the Pirates 10-38. With the win, Moses Lake improves to 4-6 while the Knights drop to 4-7.

The Knights look to bounce back Wednesday night vs. the Pirates as Corvallis sends Evan Brock (1-0, 0.00) of UC Irvine to the mound.
